Write It Down And Let Go: 2013

:: New Year ::
When I think of a New Year, I immediately think of a new beginning. In life, everyday is a new beginning. Everyday you have the chance to re invent yourself. A new year is a perfect way, to start fresh, and start the year off in a positivity light. Thanks to my yoga practice, I have been able to get much better at this each day. To let go of what doesn't serve me. This has helped me in all aspects of my life. Whether it be something in my career, friendships, romantic relationships. It really helps me to remain positive, and remember to live in the moment.
Every year I try to write a bucket list and/or a list of goals for the new year. I usually carry that around with me, as a little reminder throughout the year. Although, in this moment I am perfectly okay with where I am, and what I have. I can now say that I am the happiest I have ever been! But I know what I am capable of having, and doing. So here are some goals for my year 2013. Try to write down yours!
I know for a fact when you invision something everyday it will manifest. Here's my list for the year 2013:
Travel
This year I plan to travel a ton for work. New York, Miami, London. I want to see it all. Eventually I would love to be able to see the world on tour, and 2013 will be a step in that direction. There is nothing I would want more than be alone in a london pub, drinking a cocktail, "away on business." There is something so appealing about that scene...
Charity
I have always wanted to do charity. Whether it be singing at a hospital, or feeding the homeless. I really want to try to be a part of an organization this year. I also would love to travel somewhere and help in another country for those less fortunate. My sister went to Africa a couple years ago, and just hearing those stories makes me really motivated to go. I am a FIRM believer "You get what you give." There is always room to give.
Perform Live
Many of you haven't been apart of my music world yet. My whole life growing up was performing. Being on hiatus from the music business for a couple years, it really made me start from scratch. Working on music again for the past year, makes me want to start performing again. Whether it be venues around LA, or going on tour. I NEED to get on stage. I've already started the planning, and preparing. P.s. I really can't wait to share my new music with the Buzznet family.
Create
Working on my art is a constant. I couldn't stop creating, writing, singing even if I tried. But I always try to create MORE. 2012 was full of success, and great steps torwards my future. But I want more! 2013 will be a year of new music, and a new direction. I really want to write for myself, and other artists as well.
Video more
I stay pretty active online, and on social media sites. I always forget to take a moment, and make a video. Everytime I do make videos, you guys seem to love them. So...maybe take some more time for my friends online!
Adventure
The past couple of years I have remained pretty focused. I sometimes forget to have fun! I would love to be a bit more adventurous. I just went to Mammoth a couple of weeks ago, and I was forced to re learn how to ski. Something I haven't done in 10 years. It was scary to get back out there, and espeicially in front of new friends. It ended up being so much fun, and by the end of the trip I was so proud of myself! I have a very outgoing, extroverted personality, and I need to remember to let my hair down. My career is the most important to me, but its okay to have fun. I would like to take a roadtrip somewhere, or karaoke in a public bar. I just want to make some fun memories, that could inspire me, and my work.
I usually make a list of goals every month, and write myself a little note. I also write in a journal daily. Although this is my list for the year 2013. You can make new goals for yourself throughout the year. When you do, they usually come true!
Happy New Year!
